Inspired by the common phrase spoken at weddings, “till death do us part” and Hailey Bieber’s OffWhite wedding dress, my fashion design team came up with a gothic classic 50s style twist to the conventional white wedding dress. Through compiling inspiration from brands such as Dior’s Men Summer 2020 collection, Kendall Jenner’s H&M and Giambattista Valli dress, and the Comme Des Garcon runway, we decided on a laser cut connected hoop skirt created from a rigid cut and extrusion design that could be pulled in and out from construction paper.
